The Recovery Workforce Summit: PRA 2014 Annual Conference, presented by PRA, through the Academy of Psychiatric Rehabilitation and Recovery, offers a comprehensive line-up of in-depth psychiatric rehabilitation training, enhanced networking opportunities, and special events to grow and train the recovery workforce both nationally and globally. 95% of the 2013 Annual Conference attendees found the conference to be a valuable use of their organization’s time and resources, making the 2014 Summit the “must attend” event for persons and organizations involved in psychiatric rehabilitation.


March 2014 CPRP Exam Application Deadline Approaching - Last Exam Offering with Current Blueprint
The Certified Psychiatric Rehabilitation Practitioner (CPRP) credential distinguishes practitioners with an internationally recognized professional credential in psychiatric rehabilitation. Individuals of all backgrounds can achieve the CPRP; currently CPRPs vary from PhDs to GEDs, occupational therapists to peer specialists, social workers to case workers – all sharing a commitment to the fundamental principle that recovery from serious mental illness is possible. Apply online by January 17, 2014 for the March 29 – April 12, 2014 exam period.


New CPRP Exam Blueprint - June 2014
Effective June 1, 2014, the CPRP Exam Blueprint will be revised. The blueprint gives you an indication of the breadth of information you need to know in order to be successful in completion of the CPRP examination. Included in the blueprint are the seven performance domains that have been identified through various Job Analysis Studies conducted by the Certification Commission for Psychiatric Rehabilitation. Within each domain, the core areas of knowledge and skills needed to demonstrate competence in practice are identified. Practitioners will be assessed in these areas on the examination.
