Sensory Strategies

You are here

Saturday, June 24 / 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm

A person’s ability to interact with the environment is related to their capability to receive and organize sensory input. Sensory input includes sight, sound, taste, smell, touch, movement and body position. The way this information is processed affects a person’s ability to perform daily life tasks and integrate successfully into the community. This presentation will help participants to understand problems associated with sensory processing disorder, and identify strategies that can be used to address them.
