Misunderstood: Millennials & Workforce Development

Millennials will make up 40% of the workforce by 2020. Whether we like it or not millennials are here to stay. As a millennial myself, this TED talk will be a mix of skill building and personal testimony of what has worked (and not worked) for me thus far as a young up & comer. Mentorship and coaching are terrific ways to engage and retain the younger workforce but may be considered a risk for more traditional managers.  This TED talk will offer a cultural mindfulness framework that will help bridge the widening age gap within our field.
