Is Cognitive Behavioral Social Skills Training In Your Recovery Toolbox?

You are here

Monday, June 26 / 8:30 am to 10:00 am

The road to recovery includes learning important new skills, but putting these skills into action is often much easier said than done.  Why is this?  Often an unhelpful thought gets in the way of implementing new skills.  Cognitive Behavioral Social Skills Training (CBSST) is an evidence-based treatment that has found great success in addressing this problem.  CBSST combines thought-challenging, skills training, and problem solving techniques into a powerful method designed to help people achieve their personal recovery goals.  This workshop will train you on CBSST basics, provide you with valuable CBSST exercises, and offer a chance to practice CBSST techniques.
