Boston is city with a river that runs through it-through Boston and Cambridge, illuminating the 16 colleges that sit on either side of it's lovely twists and turns. Join us for a 3 mile brisk walk around the river-over the BU bridge and past MIT, as we discuss the climbing suicide rates amongst college students and how stigma, prejudice and discrimination contribute to this growing national crisis. We are seeking inspiration and ideas on how we, as people, providers, chapters, and association can help our students and our educational institutions respond to the mental health distress and suicide crisis in caring, responsive, responsible and non-discriminatory ways.
